Jharkhand News : A dispute broke out between the family members of a patient and junior doctors at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), the largest government hospital in Jharkhand, on Tuesday evening. The argument soon escalated into a physical altercation, leaving people from both sides injured.
According to reports, the dispute began over the treatment and medical examination of a patient who had come from Chatra district. Family members and a junior doctor reportedly got into an argument, which quickly turned violent, creating panic inside the hospital premises.
A woman who tried to intervene and stop the fight also sustained injuries during the scuffle.
People present at the hospital informed the Bariatu Police Station police about the incident. According to police officials, the hospital management stated that further action would be taken after reviewing the CCTV footage of the incident.
