Ranchi : RKDF University, Ranchi, organised a condolence and tribute meeting on Wednesday following the demise of Smt. Rupi Soren, the revered mother of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Members of the university administration, faculty and staff paid floral tributes to the departed soul by offering flowers before her portrait. They also prayed for peace to her soul and expressed their heartfelt condolences to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his bereaved family.
Members of the university fraternity said that the demise of Smt. Rupi Soren was an irreparable loss. They expressed solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult hour and prayed to the Almighty to grant them strength to bear the loss.
The condolence meeting concluded with a two-minute silence in memory of the departed soul.
