Jharkhand News : Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and current Member of Parliament Akhilesh Yadav visited Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s ancestral residence in Nemra, Ramgarh, on Tuesday. There, he paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren by offering flowers at his portrait.
On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren, MLA Basant Soren, and other family members, offering his condolences and comforting them in their time of grief.
Akhilesh Yadav also had a heartfelt interaction with Hemant Soren’s mother, Roopi Soren, during which he became emotional. He told her, “In this time of sorrow, the entire state of Jharkhand stands with you. Your strength will empower Chief Minister Hemant Soren to carry forward.” He praised the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, stating that he dedicated every moment of his life to the welfare of tribal, Dalit, oppressed, and underprivileged communities. “Guruji’s life will continue to inspire us all.”
He added that although Dishom Guru Shibu Soren is no longer among us, his struggle, ideals, and personality will never be forgotten. “Guruji” will be remembered for generations as an influential people’s leader who gave new direction to society.
Chief Minister Performs Rituals on Eighth Day of Shraddha Ceremony
Meanwhile, Tuesday marked the eighth day of the traditional Shraddha (memorial) rites for the late Shibu Soren. Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his family members, performed the rituals according to traditional beliefs for the peace of the departed soul.
