Jharkhand News : Senior scientist G.B.K. Subramanyam met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the CM’s residence on Thursday. During the meeting, he presented details about his indigenous cancer treatment machine.
Subramanyam explained that the machine is successfully being used both in India and abroad and has proven effective in treating critical diseases like cancer. The Chief Minister appreciated his efforts, stating that this machine is nothing less than a blessing for cancer patients and could make successful treatment possible.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that the state is continuously taking steps to strengthen the healthcare system. Modern facilities for diagnosis and treatment are being made available in hospitals. He expressed concern over the rising number of cancer patients and assured that the government is committed to providing advanced treatment facilities in state hospitals. MLA Rajesh Kachhap was also present on the occasion.
It is noteworthy that G.B.K. Subramanyam is the Managing Director of Panashia Limited, Bangalore, and had previously worked with India’s former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on various research projects. The cancer treatment machine developed by him is now being used in major hospitals across India and internationally.
