Jharkhand News : The meeting of Shri Shri Central Durga Puja Committee, Sukurhutu was held on Sunday at the Durga Mandir premises under the chairmanship of senior member Rajendra Kumar Mahto. In the meeting, the income and expenditure report for the year 2024–25 was presented, and it was unanimously decided to celebrate this year’s Durga Puja with grandeur and traditional fervor. The old committee was dissolved and a new committee was constituted.
In the new executive body, Akash Kumar Mahto was once again elected as President, Prakash Pahan as Executive President, Paramanand Kumar as Secretary, and Prabhat Bhushan as Chief Coordinator. Krishna Kumar Mahto was appointed as Treasurer, while Ruplal Mahato was given the responsibility of Ravana Dahan In-charge. The committee stated that this year’s Durga Puja will be organized in an even more magnificent, cultural, and vibrant manner, symbolizing social unity and deep religious devotion.
