Jamshedpur : Tata Power EZ Charge has commissioned a new electric vehicle charging hub at New Mahakali Nagar, Malvani, Malad West, strengthening its fast-charging infrastructure in Mumbai. The facility features eight dedicated parking bays and four high-capacity chargers, including one 120 kW charger and three 60 kW chargers that can be upgraded to 120 kW.
The charging station operates 24/7 and does not charge parking fees. It is open to both public EV users and fleet operators.
Four High-Capacity Chargers at the New Hub
The new facility is equipped with one 120 kW charger and three 60 kW chargers, with the latter capable of being upgraded to 120 kW. All four chargers support the CCS2 fast-charging standard, enabling compatibility with a wide range of electric vehicles.
The chargers also feature an auto-charging facility designed to make the charging experience more convenient for users.
Strategic Location Near Mindspace and Infinity Mall
The new charging hub is located at New Mahakali Nagar, Malvani, in Malad West. Its location is intended to serve the area’s working population as well as fleet operators travelling through the corridor.
The facility is also situated near key commercial destinations, including Mindspace Business Park and Infinity Mall, providing an additional charging option for EV users in the area.
Tata Power EZ Charge Network Expands in Maharashtra
With the commissioning of the new hub, Tata Power’s EZ Charge network now has more than 2,400 charging points across Maharashtra, including over 1,800 charging points across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
Users can locate the charging station, check real-time charger availability and make payments through the Tata Power EZ Charge app.
At the national level, the EZ Charge network includes more than 2.5 lakh home chargers, over 6,500 public and captive charging points, and more than 1,200 electric bus charging points across 700+ cities and towns. The network serves more than 7 lakh registered customers.
