Offbeat News : Actress Urfi Javed has revealed that she is being harassed and threatened by an individual who allegedly morphed her photos and made them explicit. The actress took to her Instagram story to share details of the disturbing incident, including a screenshot of the alleged harasser’s Instagram profile.
Urfi stated that the person edited her photo in an obscene manner and then sent it to her, threatening to leak it on social media. Expressing shock, she wrote, “This person is morphing my pictures and threatening to upload them online. I can’t believe how people are misusing technology like this.”
The actress further declared that she will take legal action and urged others, especially women, not to stay silent in such situations. “Please don’t be afraid. Go directly to the police. You are not the problem — people like this are,” she said.
The Instagram profile shared by Urfi reportedly has around 4,000 followers and claims to be a reel creator. Although the identity of the accused is yet to be fully confirmed, Urfi’s firm response signals her intent to fight back.
Morphing — altering real photos to depict someone falsely or obscenely — is a serious cybercrime in India, punishable under law.
