Jharkhand News : A major railway accident was narrowly avoided in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district on Friday when the Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express collided with a wood-laden tractor-trolley that had reached the railway track between Charhi and Bes railway stations.
The sudden collision created panic in the area. However, there were no reports of any passenger being injured or killed in the incident.
According to the information available, the Vande Bharat Express was travelling from Ranchi towards Patna on its scheduled route. During the journey, a tractor-trolley loaded with wood came onto the railway track between Charhi and Bes railway stations.
The train collided with the tractor-trolley, following which panic spread among people in the surrounding area.
Railway Officials Reach the Spot
As soon as information about the incident was received, railway officials and concerned personnel reached the spot and assessed the situation.
Information has emerged that some parts of the Vande Bharat Express were damaged in the collision. Railway officials subsequently inspected the train and the railway track.
