Jharkhand News : Women members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly met Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s chamber in the Assembly premises on Monday and extended their greetings on International Women’s Day.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Hemant Soren congratulated all the women representatives on the occasion of International Women’s Day and honored them for their contribution to public life. He emphasized that the active participation of women is crucial for the overall development of the state.
The Chief Minister stated that the Jharkhand government is continuously working toward women’s empowerment. Various welfare schemes are being implemented to make women self-reliant and to increase their participation in social and economic activities.
He added that the government is committed to strengthening women through initiatives in education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and safety. According to him, empowering women is one of the top priorities of the state government.
During the interaction, the women MLAs also shared their suggestions with the Chief Minister regarding women’s welfare, safety, and empowerment in the state. Discussions were also held on increasing women’s social, economic, and political participation and further strengthening their role in the development of Jharkhand.
