India News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday asserted that the upcoming Bihar Assembly election is not just a state-level affair but a decisive moment for the entire nation. Speaking at the conclusion of the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Patna, he emphasized that the election would determine the country’s “direction and destiny.”
Highlighting reforms in Jharkhand, Soren said his government had curbed the migration of women by providing economic support and development opportunities.
Criticizing the BJP, he accused the party of misusing money and power to cling to power. “The BJP is resorting to fear tactics through agencies like CBI and ED. I was jailed under false charges,” he claimed. Soren added that had he not been imprisoned, the BJP wouldn’t have won a single seat in Jharkhand during the Lok Sabha polls.
Calling the BJP’s rise to power a result of “vote theft,” he said the party’s tactics are not new but have now been exposed. He urged opposition parties to remain united, stating that unity is the only way to defeat such forces.
Soren also criticized the recent voter list revision in Bihar, calling it flawed due to the combination of “special and intensive” reviews, which he deemed incorrect.
