India News : The final day of the three-day All India Coordination Meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded in Jodhpur today, with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat delivering the valedictory address. The meeting saw participation from the national heads and organization secretaries of various RSS-affiliated bodies.
Key concerns raised during the discussions included religious conversions and drug abuse in Punjab, infiltration and law and order issues in West Bengal, and the situation in Manipur. The reduction of Naxal influence in tribal areas and ongoing peace efforts in Manipur were seen as positive developments.
RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar briefed the media, stating that the Sangh and its affiliated organizations are committed to strengthening unity and cooperation in society. Topics such as women’s participation, Indianization of education, social challenges, and national security were at the core of the discussions.
On women’s coordination, Ambekar highlighted increasing leadership opportunities for women across various organizations. During ‘Operation Sindoor’, 887 programs were held across India, organized by women active in different sectors. Kreeda Bharati also presented a study focusing on women in sports.
Ambekar lauded the National Education Policy (NEP), calling it a positive step, and said that many education-related organizations are actively working to implement it on the ground.
On the electoral front, he voiced support for the Election Commission’s Special Summary Revision (SIR) process currently underway in Bihar. Calling it a “positive initiative,” he emphasized that such revisions are regular, lawful, and come with mechanisms for addressing grievances.
Discussing language and societal issues, Ambekar reiterated the Sangh’s stand against discrimination based on language. He stressed the importance of promoting education in local languages over English, noting that development in Indian languages has progressed under the current government, but more work is needed.
Regarding religious conversions, he said that those carried out through deceit or allurements are wrong. The Sangh is working to raise awareness on this issue and emphasized the role of saints in spreading alertness and awareness about Hindu dharma.
Ambekar also clarified that the RSS does not need to operate externally during elections, as it is always engaged at the grassroots level. He warned that forces disrupting social unity remain active, and that raising awareness is a collective responsibility of society, not just the Sangh.
