One Ticket to Travel Across Four Metro Lines in Mumbai

India News : The metro network in Mumbai and its suburbs is expanding rapidly, providing significant relief from traffic congestion. Much like Delhi Metro, which transformed urban commuting, the Maharashtra government aims to integrate Mumbai and its suburbs through a unified metro system.

Currently, four metro lines are operational in Mumbai:

  1. Ghatkopar–Andheri–Versova (Metro 1)

  2. Dahisar–Andheri West (Metro 2A)

  3. Dahisar–Gundavali (Metro 7)

  4. Aarey–Acharya Atre Chowk

Now, commuters can travel across all four metro lines with a single ticket. To simplify the process, the Mumbai Metro One Corridor Line (MMOCL), in collaboration with Sequential Structuring Company, has launched the “One Ticket App” on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

Passengers can download the app from the Play Store and book tickets seamlessly without buying separate passes for each line. For example, traveling from Dahisar East to Worli, which usually requires three different tickets, can now be done with one unified ticket costing ₹100. Payments can be made via card, net banking, or UPI.

Fare examples include:

  • Dahisar (East) to Gundavali – ₹30

  • Western Express Highway to Marol Naka – ₹20

  • Marol Naka to Worli – ₹50

While tickets can be purchased together on the app, fare prices remain unchanged and no discounts are provided for multiple routes booked at once.
