Delhi Blast Case: Major Revelation — 5 Doctors Allegedly Raised ₹26 Lakh to Plan Serial Attacks Across Multiple Cities

India News : A major breakthrough has emerged in the investigation of the recent Delhi blast. According to sources in the National Investigation Agency (NIA), key accused Muzammil Gani has allegedly revealed that five doctors together raised ₹26 lakh to fund a large-scale terror plot aimed at carrying out coordinated attacks in several Indian cities.

As per the investigation, Gani confessed that he purchased around 26 quintals of NPK fertilizer from Gurugram and Nuh for nearly ₹3 lakh. He was reportedly tasked with procuring fertilizer and other chemical materials. Officials also found large amounts of ammonium nitrate and urea, suggesting long-term planning.

Investigators allege that the explosive preparation was carried out under the supervision of Umar Un-Nabi, who was also responsible for arranging the remote detonator and electronic circuitry. According to agency sources, the module had been quietly collecting explosive materials and triggering devices for almost two years.

Officials say the quantity of recovered material clearly indicates a plan for multiple blasts, not just a single attack. However, the confession of any accused becomes legally valid only when recorded before a magistrate.

Regarding funding, Gani reportedly told investigators that he contributed ₹5 lakh, Adil Ahmed Rathar ₹8 lakh, his brother Muzafar Rathar ₹6 lakh, Shahin Shahid ₹5 lakh, and Dr. Umar Un-Nabi ₹2 lakh. All the funds were allegedly handed over to Umar, suggesting he was the one entrusted with executing the attacks.

So far, three doctors — Muzammil Gani, Shahin Shahid, and Adil Rathar — have been arrested. Adil’s brother Muzafar Rathar is suspected to be in Afghanistan. Agencies are also searching for Nisar-ul-Hassan, who worked with the group at Al-Falah Medical College.

Sources say that the explosives placed in the Hyundai car outside the Red Fort on November 10 were allegedly detonated remotely by Umar himself. Investigators are now focusing on identifying the suppliers and uncovering the full extent of the network, which is believed to have operated under an academic cover.
