According to recent leaks, the company may launch its first smartphone with a 108MP primary camera, marking its debut in the competitive mobile phone industry.
Dreame is widely recognized for its premium products such as robot vacuum cleaners, grooming devices, and other smart appliances, positioned in a price segment similar to brands like Dyson. The company is not only popular in China but also has a strong presence in global markets. Reports suggest that Dreame is preparing to launch its smartphone both in China and internationally.
The first smartphone is expected to be called Dreame E1. The device, listed under the model number W5110, has reportedly received certification from the European Union Energy Label database. As per leaks, the phone could feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, though details about the refresh rate are yet to be revealed.
In terms of optics, the Dreame E1 is said to come with a triple rear camera setup, led by a 108MP main sensor, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the smartphone may offer a 50MP selfie camera. It is also expected to include an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The device is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Certification documents suggest the phone will carry an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes. Interestingly, the database mentions that the battery could be user-replaceable, although the user manual reportedly advises against removing it.
Additional features may include 5G connectivity, NFC support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, details regarding the processor, RAM, storage variants, pricing, and exact launch date have not yet been disclosed. Based on the leaked specifications, the Dreame E1 appears to be positioned as a mid-range smartphone.
While Dreame already operates in the Indian market with its smart appliances, there is currently no official confirmation on whether the company will launch its smartphones in India.
