CM Samrat Choudhary Directs Timely Completion of PMGSY and Rural Works Projects

Bihar News : Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Saturday reviewed the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and pending schemes of the Rural Works Department at the ‘Sankalp’ auditorium at Lok Sevak Awas. He directed officials to ensure that all ongoing and pending projects are completed within the stipulated timeline.

During the meeting, Rural Works Department Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh made a detailed presentation on the progress of various projects being implemented under PMGSY and other departmental schemes.

The Chief Minister reviewed the status of several PMGSY projects and stressed the need for quality and timely execution. He said better road connectivity in rural areas is an important foundation for development and directed officials to ensure that villagers get improved transportation facilities.

Samrat Choudhary also reviewed pending projects of the Rural Works Department and directed officials to immediately resolve administrative and technical hurdles affecting their progress.

He made it clear that unnecessary delays in development projects would not be tolerated. He also directed officials to regularly monitor all schemes, maintain construction quality and ensure a transparent and accountable working system.

The Chief Minister said the government’s priority is to ensure that the benefits of development schemes reach people on time and that basic infrastructure in rural areas is further strengthened.

Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Chief Minister’s Secretaries Lokesh Kumar Singh and Sanjay Kumar Singh, Rural Works Department Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh and other senior officials attended the meeting.
