Bihar News : Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari received a grand welcome from Bharatiya Janata Party workers during his first visit to the BJP district office in Siwan. The programme began with floral tributes to the portraits of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, freedom fighter Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, followed by a collective rendition of Vande Mataram.
Addressing party workers, Tiwari said the Bharatiya Janata Party is the world’s largest political party and provides opportunities for ordinary workers to rise within the organisation. He said the party had given him opportunities to contest the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections and had now entrusted him with the important Education portfolio in the Bihar government.
The minister said the government is committed to implementing the party’s decisions on the ground and working transparently in the interest of the people.
Teacher Recruitment to Begin Soon
Tiwari said the government will soon begin the recruitment process to provide educated youth in Bihar with opportunities to become teachers.
He also said a grievance redressal portal has been launched by the Bihar School Examination Board to ensure quick resolution of problems faced by students and parents. A single-window system has also been introduced at the Intermediate Council office to simplify services and procedures.
Schools to Get Modern Labs and AI-Based Education
The Education Minister said a half-day school arrangement has been introduced on Saturdays for the convenience of teachers and students.
He said work is also underway to repair and paint school buildings and equip laboratories with modern facilities and equipment. To ensure that students in Bihar do not fall behind in modern technology, special emphasis is being placed on artificial intelligence-based education in schools.
BJP Workers Welcome Education Minister
The programme was presided over by BJP district president Rahul Tiwari, while district general secretary Rajesh Srivastava conducted the proceedings. Rahul Tiwari welcomed the Education Minister with a traditional angavastram and a bouquet.
In his welcome address, Rahul Tiwari said Mithilesh Tiwari’s visit to Siwan after becoming a minister had generated enthusiasm among party workers. He said workers were eager to welcome and felicitate the minister.
The event was attended by state vice-president Nand Prasad Chauhan, state minister Mukesh Kumar, former Legislative Council member Manoj Kumar Singh, Bihar State Citizens Council general secretary Rajiv Kumar, Religious Trust Board member Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar Singh, senior leader Shambhu Prasad Gupta, along with party office-bearers, district presidents of various fronts, cell conveners, mandal presidents and general secretaries.
