Bihar News : A Tiranga Yatra was launched in Patna on Monday to spread the spirit of patriotism among people ahead of Independence Day. Led by Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the march was organised from Gandhi Maidan to Kargil Chowk, with schoolchildren, the Chief Minister and other ministers carrying the national flag.
Before the march began, CM Samrat Choudhary addressed a gathering at Gandhi Maidan and highlighted the significance of the colours of the Tricolour. He said the saffron colour represents courage, sacrifice and martyrdom, while white conveys the message of peace.
India Wants Peace but Can Respond
Samrat Choudhary said the white colour of the Tricolour reflects India’s message that the country does not fight with the world without reason.
However, he said that if anyone challenges India, the people of the country have the strength and capability to fight back and give a befitting reply.
The Tiranga Yatra, led by the Chief Minister, saw the participation of schoolchildren and ministers of the Bihar government. The march covered the route from Gandhi Maidan to Kargil Chowk.
