Offbeat News : Indian social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, who often remains in the spotlight for her statements, has confirmed that she has moved to New York. She shared the update through social media and said that she felt something different after arriving in the city.
According to Apoorva, her experience in New York convinced her to stay there and build the next phase of her life in the city.
‘I Don’t Live in India Anymore’
Apoorva recently appeared on a podcast and shared its link through her Instagram Story. Along with the post, she wrote that she no longer lives in India.
During the conversation, she said that she is not currently planning to build her future while living in India.
She also made it clear that she does not want to continue working as a content creator throughout her life. According to Apoorva, content creation is not something she believes she can continue forever, and she now wants to move forward in the field of business.
Apoorva Opens Up About Her College Years
During the podcast, Apoorva also spoke about her college life and said that her experience was quite different.
She explained that the first two years of college were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. During the following two years, she was in a relationship.
In a light-hearted manner, she said that she spent much of her college life walking around while holding hands with her then-boyfriend.
Why Apoorva Chose New York
Speaking about her decision to leave India, Apoorva said she had been living in one of the country’s best cities but did not want to spend the rest of her life travelling between Andheri and Colaba.
She said she had travelled to several countries and cities, but felt a different connection when she arrived in New York.
According to Apoorva, she was drawn to the city’s fast-paced lifestyle, people’s fashion, food and architecture. She also said that repeatedly seeing New York in some of her favourite web series contributed to her connection with the city.
She Applied to Only One College
Apoorva said she was so certain about studying in New York that she applied to only one college there.
According to her, she had made up her mind that if she received admission, she would move to the city.
