Darbhanga Airport Security to Be Strengthened, CISF Land Survey Held

Bihar News : The district administration has stepped up efforts to strengthen security arrangements at Darbhanga Airport. On Tuesday, officials conducted a site inspection of around seven acres of land in Keoti block for the construction of a residential and office campus for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Darbhanga MP Dr Gopal Ji Thakur said he had recently raised the issue of strengthening security arrangements at Darbhanga Airport during a meeting of the Consultative Committee held in Mysuru. He had urged the concerned officials to make land available for CISF at the earliest.

Land Inspected for CISF Campus

The MP said the district administration’s site inspection following his continued efforts marks important progress towards strengthening Darbhanga Airport.

He said providing a residential and office campus for CISF would help make security arrangements at the airport more effective.

Efforts to Develop Airport Continue

Dr Gopal Ji Thakur said his efforts would continue to ensure the development and expansion of Darbhanga Airport as well as better security arrangements for passengers.

The proposed land for the CISF campus is being viewed as an important step towards further strengthening security at the airport.
