Ranchi : A ‘Namami Bharatam’ programme was organised at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa, on Friday under the aegis of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan to mark 150 years of Vande Mataram.
The theme of the programme was “150 Years of Vande Mataram – One Time, One Rhythm, One Voice, Vande Mataram.” More than 2,000 students and over 120 teachers and staff members of the school participated in the programme and collectively sang Vande Mataram.
The mass singing conveyed a message of patriotism and national unity.
Dr Narendra Dev Goswami Presides Over Programme
The programme was presided over by Dr Narendra Dev Goswami, President of the Shishu Vikas Mandir Samiti.
Among those present were school Vice-President Sunil Dutt Singh, Ashish Nath Shahdeo, Dr Dhaneshwar Mahto, Amit Nandan, Dainik Jagran journalist Sanjay Kumar, Umashankar from Vidya Vikas Samiti, Principal Lalan Kumar, Vice-Principal Meena Kumari, In-charge Rakesh Pandey, and Shubhashree Tiwari, Manisha Srivastava and Moni Kumari, along with all the teachers.
Focus on Patriotism and National Unity
The programme was organised with the objective of strengthening the values of patriotism, national unity and respect for the motherland among students.
Through the collective singing of Vande Mataram, students and teachers conveyed a message of national unity and respect for the country.
