Ranchi : RKDF University, Ranchi’s School of Law organised a special orientation programme for newly admitted students, marking the beginning of their academic and professional journey in legal education.
The programme provided an opportunity for Senior and Super Senior students to interact with the newcomers and familiarise them with the university’s academic environment, discipline and campus life.
The event was attended by advocates from the High Court and Lower Courts, who shared their courtroom experiences and insights into the practical aspects of the legal profession. They emphasised that a successful career in law requires more than academic knowledge, highlighting the importance of practical understanding, logical reasoning, effective communication, discipline and professional ethics.
Chancellor Dr Sadhna Kapoor Addresses Students Through Video Conferencing
RKDF University Chancellor Dr Sadhna Kapoor addressed the students through video conferencing. She encouraged the students to pursue their legal education with seriousness and responsibility and urged them to cultivate discipline, positive thinking and a habit of continuous learning throughout their academic journey.
The programme was attended by the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Dean Academic, Dean and HOD, School of Law, along with other senior university officials and faculty members. They shared their views on the academic and professional development of students and encouraged them to work hard, maintain discipline and continuously enhance their knowledge.

During the programme, students were briefed about the university’s rules and regulations, discipline, protocol, academic conduct and campus decorum.
