Gandhi Jayanti Quiz Promotes Learning and Healthy Competition Among Children in Howrah

Howrah: Step Up Classes, an educational initiative of the Margastha Research Foundation, organised a Static General Knowledge (GK) Quiz Competition for children at the foundation’s Balitikuri centre in Howrah on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

The quiz saw enthusiastic participation from underprivileged children aged between 8 and 16 years. The programme was led by Devanand Singh, an educator at Step Up Classes, with the aim of promoting learning, general awareness and a spirit of healthy competition among children.

The event was held from 4 pm to 6 pm, during which the participating students actively took part in the quiz and tested their general knowledge in an engaging educational environment.

At the conclusion of the competition, medals were presented to the winners in recognition of their performance and participation. The organisers appreciated the enthusiasm and active involvement of the children throughout the programme.

Speaking at the conclusion, Margastha Research Foundation Secretary Ajay Verma appreciated the successful organisation of the event and acknowledged the efforts of educators and volunteers in creating meaningful learning opportunities for children from underprivileged backgrounds.

The programme concluded on a positive note, with the participating children expressing happiness over the opportunity to learn, compete and take part in an interactive educational activity.
