Bhagalpur/Pirpainti : The first day of Navratri brought joy and renewed hope to 68 families belonging to the Santhal and Pahariya tribal communities in Pirpainti, as they received the keys to their newly constructed homes under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Adani Power. A collective housewarming ceremony was organised to mark the occasion, enabling the beneficiary families to enter their new homes and begin a new chapter in their lives.

Local MLA Murari Paswan attended the programme as the chief guest. The district administration was represented by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Rakesh Ranjan, Circle Officer Chandrashekhar Kumar and other officials.

Adani Foundation Supports Tribal Families

The state government had allotted land to landless Santhal and Pahariya families residing within the Pirpainti Power Plant campus. To facilitate their rehabilitation and improve their living conditions, the Adani Foundation supported the construction of houses through Adani Power’s CSR initiative.
