Patna. The 67th North Bihar Provincial Conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), held at Minz Stadium in Gopalganj, concluded successfully. Student activists from 20 districts of Bihar participated in the conference and later returned to their respective regions. Following the conclusion, senior ABVP leaders addressed a press conference and shared details about the success of the event and the organization’s upcoming action plan.
Addressing the media, Yagyavalkya Shukla, State Organization Secretary of ABVP Bihar-Jharkhand, said that the provincial conference organized in Gopalganj was highly successful. He stated that the event received strong support from students, teachers, traders, workers, and former ABVP activists. According to him, the conference has helped establish Gopalganj as a major center of student power.
He further informed that ABVP will focus extensively on improving the quality of education over the next year. Continuous campaigns will be launched to strengthen the academic environment on campuses and ensure quality education. The organization will review basic facilities such as drinking water, libraries, and employment-oriented courses in colleges, and if required, will adopt the path of dialogue and protest to address deficiencies.
ABVP to Conduct Survey on Indo-Nepal Border
Yajnavalkya Shukla emphasized that border security and national security have emerged as major concerns in the present time. Keeping this in view, ABVP will launch two major campus-level campaigns. One campaign will focus on public awareness and movements against illegal infiltration. The second initiative will involve conducting a survey in the India-Nepal border areas to identify issues related to drugs, narcotics, terrorism, and other anti-youth activities.
He stated that unchecked illegal infiltration poses a serious threat to the nation’s development and security, and a firm stance is essential to address the issue.
Conference Participants to Act as Voices of Nationalism
Speaking about the students who attended the conference, he said that all returning participants will act as ambassadors of nationalism and border security in their respective regions. They will work to raise public awareness and strongly highlight campus-related issues. Students have returned with a renewed sense of responsibility toward society and the nation.
