Offbeat News : Actress Akanksha Chamola made a shocking revelation during the premiere of the reality show Lock Upp, announcing that she and her husband, Gaurav Khanna, are heading for divorce.
During the premiere, the show’s host asked contestants to reveal a personal secret as part of the “Expose Card” task. While introducing herself, Akanksha spoke candidly about her personal life.
She said, “Gaurav and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the past one year, and this was never made public.” She became emotional while sharing the news, adding, “That is my secret.”
Decision Was Mutual
Akanksha clarified that the decision to separate was mutual and not the result of any conflict. She revealed that she and Gaurav had been discussing their separation for nearly a year.
She said, “It was a mutual decision. We have been talking about it for the past year.”
“We Still Share a Good Relationship”
Despite deciding to part ways, Akanksha said they continue to share a cordial relationship.
She explained, “Everything is fine between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other. We just don’t think we are the right partners for one another because our visions for the future are very different. Unfortunately, that future does not include each other.”
