Improved Liquid Glass Interface
Apple refined its Liquid Glass design language, first introduced last year. Many users had complained that the transparency effects made icons difficult to view. In response, Apple has enhanced the interface to improve visibility and usability.
Major Performance Improvements
Apple highlighted several system-level performance upgrades, including:
- Faster app launch times.
- Improved file import, copying, and transfer speeds.
- More accurate search results.
- Smarter switching between Wi-Fi networks.
- An optimized CPU Scheduler that reportedly supports devices as old as the iPhone 11.

New AI Features in Safari
Apple introduced several AI-powered enhancements to Safari:

- Intelligent linking of related tabs.
- A new Vibe Extension Creation feature that allows users to describe an extension, which Safari AI can then generate automatically.
Apple also revealed that the Passwords app will be able to update passwords automatically, although detailed information about how replacement passwords will be selected was not disclosed.
macOS 27 Golden Gate
The new macOS 27 Golden Gate includes a Dynamic Island-style interface for Siri AI that can be accessed with a swipe-down gesture.

Apple also announced several other enhancements:
- Image Playground gains new artistic styles and more photorealistic image generation capabilities.
- Visual Intelligence has been expanded to provide information about objects seen through the camera or Apple Vision Pro, including shopping recommendations.
- The Home app will group notifications from the same accessory and allow users to search recorded video clips by content.
- The Photos app will now offer background extension tools, object removal capabilities, and a new Spatial Reframing feature that can adjust the viewing angle of photos.
