Assam Election Campaign: CM Hemant Soren Urges Workers to Unite for Their Rights

Ranchi, Sonari: Chief Minister Hemant Soren addressed a large public meeting in the Sonari Assembly constituency of Charaideo district, Assam. He said his visit was not just political but a commitment to stand with tea garden workers, tribal communities, and farmers in their struggle.

Hemant Soren expressed concern over the conditions of tea garden workers, stating that a wage of ₹250 is too low and makes life difficult. He urged people not to be swayed by small promises and to unite for their rights.

He highlighted that tribal communities in Assam have not yet received their proper recognition and rights. The Chief Minister emphasized that a united society can bring change through its collective strength.

Citing the example of Jharkhand, he said that the people there changed the government and secured their rights through their own efforts. He urged citizens to be aware and organized in claiming their entitlements.

Meanwhile, JMM legislator Kalpana Soren addressed a public meeting in the Margarita Assembly constituency of Tinsukia district, urging people to vote in large numbers for the party candidate Jarnel Minz.
