Bihar News : Education infrastructure in Bihar’s Banka district is set for a major upgrade with the inauguration of 11 model schools, one in each block, on Sunday. The schools, operating under the name Saraswati Vidya Niketan, aim to provide modern, technology-driven education for students from Classes 9 to 12.
The inauguration will be carried out by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary from Begusarai, with the event being broadcast live across all 11 model schools in the district. Local public representatives will participate in the inauguration and watch the Chief Minister’s address.
The newly established model schools will be equipped with modern educational infrastructure, smart classrooms, digital learning facilities, and online teaching by subject experts. The administration has also stated that qualified teachers for all subjects will be appointed soon, while the admission process will follow a revised system.
District Magistrate Anshul Agrawal has directed Block Education Officers (BEOs) to serve as nodal officers and Block Development Officers (BDOs) as senior officers to ensure smooth conduct of the inauguration. Arrangements, including live telecast, seating, and other logistics, have already been completed.
The district-level inauguration ceremony will be held at RMK Inter School in Banka, where legislators, senior district officials, and other dignitaries will be present. Members of Parliament, MLAs, Panchayat representatives, and other elected officials have also been invited to the inaugural events at the remaining model schools.

According to the district administration, preparations have also begun for three additional model schools, which will be inaugurated at a later date.
