Bihar News : In a major boost for teaching aspirants in Bihar, the state government has approved the fourth phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4) and sent a requisition to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) for the recruitment of 32,388 teachers. The move formally clears the way for the next round of teacher appointments across the state.
Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced the development on social media platform X on Wednesday, calling it “another historic gift” for Bihar’s youth. He said the government remains committed to improving the quality of education, creating employment opportunities, and fulfilling its vision of a developed Bihar. According to him, the recruitment drive will help address the shortage of teachers in government schools while providing thousands of young people with secure government jobs.
The Education Department has forwarded the requisition for 32,388 vacancies to BPSC, which is now expected to begin the recruitment process. The commission is likely to release a detailed notification soon, followed by the commencement of the online application process.
According to the government, the vacancies include 3,847 posts for Classes I–V, 8,563 posts for Classes VI–VIII, 3,877 posts for Classes IX–X, and 16,101 posts for Classes XI–XII, taking the total number of vacancies to 32,388.
Candidates are now awaiting the official BPSC notification, which will provide details on application dates, eligibility criteria, subject-wise vacancies, reservation policy, examination schedule, selection process, application fee, and other recruitment guidelines.
The announcement comes after the successful completion of the first three phases of teacher recruitment in Bihar, under which a large number of candidates were appointed. With the approval of TRE-4, lakhs of aspiring teachers have received fresh hope for government employment.
