Bihar News : On the occasion of Independence Day, the Bihar government will provide three decimals of land each to 30,000 landless families for housing. Revenue and Land Reforms Department Secretary Jai Singh said on Friday that special camps will be organised across all districts on August 15 to distribute settlement certificates to the selected beneficiaries.
After the official Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremonies in all districts, special camps will be held where eligible beneficiaries will receive their land settlement certificates.
Special Camps to Be Held Across Bihar
Revenue and Land Reforms Department Secretary Jai Singh said commissioners and district magistrates have been instructed to complete all necessary preparations for the programme.
Department Minister Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal said providing land rights to a large number of landless families on Independence Day reflects the government’s commitment to public welfare.
Digital Certificates Being Prepared
The department has already started uploading and verifying the digitally signed settlement certificates of all selected beneficiaries.
District magistrates have been instructed to personally monitor the programme to ensure that the selected beneficiaries receive their settlement certificates as scheduled.
