Bihar News : Panic spread in Panjiar Darzi locality under Bundelkhand police station area of Nawada town on Monday after the bodies of a woman and her two young daughters were found in the same room. According to preliminary information, the mother allegedly killed her four-year-old and one-and-a-half-year-old daughters before hanging herself. The reason behind the incident has not yet been established.
The deceased have been identified as Nida Khatun, 32, wife of Mohammad Shahid, a resident of Panjiar Darzi locality, and her daughters four-year-old Saria and one-and-a-half-year-old Sidra.
Husband Has Been in Saudi Arabia for a Year
According to the information available, Nida’s husband, Mohammad Shahid, has been living in Saudi Arabia for around a year, where he works as an electrician. Nida was staying at home with her two daughters.
The incident came to light on Monday when a family member went to the room and tried to open the door. When there was no response for some time, the person looked inside through the ventilator and found the two children lying dead, while Nida was found hanging.
Forensic Team Collects Evidence
After receiving information, Bundelkhand police reached the spot, secured the room and began an investigation. Considering the seriousness of the incident, a forensic team was also called to the scene, where it collected necessary evidence.
Police took the bodies into custody and began the process of sending them for post-mortem examination.
No Suicide Note Found
According to police, no suicide note has been recovered from the room so far. Therefore, the reason behind the deaths of the two children and Nida’s subsequent suicide remains unclear.
Police are questioning family members and examining every aspect of the case. The incident has left the locality in mourning, with a large number of people gathering at the spot.
