Chief Minister Student Incentive Scheme: Online Applications Open on e-Kalyan Portal, Eligible Minority Students to Receive Up to ₹15,000

Bihar News : The Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, has invited online applications from eligible students for the Chief Minister Student Incentive Scheme 2026. The e-Kalyan portal has been opened for applications from July 31.

Under the scheme:

  • Minority (Muslim) girl students who have passed the Intermediate examination in First Division from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will receive an incentive of ₹15,000.
  • Girl students who have passed the Maulvi examination in First Division from the Bihar State Madrasa Education Board will also be eligible for ₹15,000.

In addition, minority boys and girls who have passed the Fauquania examination in First Division will receive ₹10,000 as financial assistance.

The incentive amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) or RTGS.

How to Apply

Applicants must log in to the e-Kalyan portal using their Registration Number and Roll Number. After logging in, they will be required to provide:

  • Bank account number
  • IFSC code
  • Aadhaar number
  • Other required personal and academic details

Eligibility and Bank Account Requirements

The department has specified that:

  • The bank account must be in the name of the student.
  • It must be linked with Aadhaar.
  • The account should be maintained with a nationalized bank, a recognized private bank, or an India Post Payments Bank branch located in Bihar.
