Bihar News : Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary offered prayers at the famous Thawe Temple in Gopalganj on Wednesday. Amid Vedic chants, the Chief Minister performed religious rituals and prayed to Maa Thawe for the peace, happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of Bihar.
During the prayers, Choudhary also sought blessings for the state’s continued development and the welfare of its people. He said his wish was for Bihar to prosper and continue moving forward on the path of development.
CM Seeks Blessings for Bihar
Speaking to journalists after offering prayers, the Chief Minister said he had visited the temple to seek the blessings of Maa Thawe. He prayed that her blessings would always remain upon the people of Bihar.
Choudhary said he had prayed at Thawe Dham for the peace, happiness, prosperity and well-being of the entire state. He also sought blessings for the welfare of the people and Bihar’s continued progress.
Warm Welcome for CM in Home District
Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit welcomed the Chief Minister on his arrival in his home district of Gopalganj by presenting him with a bouquet. Local public representatives, leaders and the temple management also welcomed him.
The Chief Minister was presented with bouquets, an angavastram and a symbolic memento during the visit.
Devotees Gather at Thawe Temple
The Chief Minister’s arrival at the temple generated enthusiasm among devotees and local residents. Religious rituals were performed inside the temple premises amid the chanting of Vedic mantras.
Food and Consumer Protection Minister Ashok Choudhary, Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari, Rural Works Minister Sunil Kumar, MLA Manjit Kumar Singh, MLA Subhash Singh and Legislative Council member Rajiv Kumar alias Gappu Babu were among the public representatives present on the occasion.
Senior administrative officials, local leaders, members of the temple management and a large number of devotees were also present.
