India News : A tragic road accident claimed the lives of six young men in Rajasthan’s Dausa district late Tuesday night. The incident occurred on the Jaipur–Agra National Highway (NH-21) near Kailai village, where a speeding car lost control, jumped the divider and rammed into an oncoming heavy trailer. The collision was so severe that the car was completely mangled and got stuck in the front portion of the trailer.
All the victims were close friends and were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony. The accident took place around 11 pm. Eyewitnesses said the car was at very high speed when the driver suddenly lost control, causing the vehicle to cross into the opposite lane and crash head-on into the trailer.
Hearing the loud impact, nearby villagers rushed to the spot and informed the police. A team from Sikandra Police Station reached the scene. As the car was badly crushed, a crane was used to separate it from the trailer and rescue the occupants.
Four youths were declared dead on arrival at Sikandra hospital. Two others were rushed in critical condition to the Dausa district hospital. One of them succumbed to injuries there, while the sixth victim was referred to Jaipur’s SMS Hospital, where he also died during treatment. With this, the death toll rose to six.

Overspeeding suspected
Police said overspeeding appears to be the primary cause of the accident. A case has been registered, the damaged vehicles have been seized, and the trailer driver is being questioned. Traffic on the highway remained disrupted for some time but was later restored with the help of cranes.
Local authorities have appealed to motorists to drive cautiously at night and avoid high speeds to prevent such heartbreaking incidents.
