Patna: Preparations to implement an e-cabinet system in Bihar have gained momentum. A meeting regarding its implementation and effective execution was held on Wednesday at the ‘Sankalp’ hall, located at the Chief Minister’s official residence, under the chairmanship of Samrat Chaudhary. During the meeting, the Chief Minister stated that the e-cabinet system would prove to be a significant initiative toward good governance, making the cabinet’s decision-making process faster, simpler, and more transparent.

The Chief Minister noted that the e-cabinet system would foster better coordination among various departments and accelerate government operations. By transitioning the exchange of cabinet-related files entirely to a digital format, the time required for processing them will be reduced, making administrative procedures more effective and accountable.

Samrat Chaudhary also emphasized the integration of modern technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), into the e-cabinet system. He stressed that administrative processes should be simplified and made more accessible by maximizing the use of technology.

The Chief Minister described the e-cabinet system as a crucial step toward a paperless administration. It will not only save time and resources but also contribute to environmental conservation. The state government is committed to making the administrative system more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric through the use of modern technology. This system will serve as a milestone for good governance and digital administration in Bihar.

During the meeting, various aspects of transforming the state’s cabinet operations into a modern, transparent, technology-driven, and paperless system were discussed in detail. Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat Department, provided a comprehensive overview of the e-cabinet system and its implementation through a presentation.
