Ranchi : Jharkhand Gramin Bank organised a cleanliness drive across the state on October 1 under the leadership of Bank Chairman Madan Mohan Bariyar.
As part of the campaign, more than 70 officers and employees working at the bank’s head office participated in a cleanliness drive in the PHED Hill area of Bariatu, Ranchi.
Plastic Waste Collected During Drive
During the cleanliness campaign, participants collected various types of waste from the area, including plastic bottles, wrappers, polythene bags, cans and other discarded material.
The bank team also appealed to passers-by to help keep public places clean. Participants conveyed that maintaining cleanliness in public spaces is part of our social responsibility and can contribute to building a clean and beautiful Ranchi.
People were also encouraged to take an active part in cleanliness initiatives and remain aware of the importance of maintaining clean surroundings.
The campaign highlighted the message: “Participation in cleanliness; Clean India, Developed India.”
Bank Officials Actively Participate
Jharkhand Gramin Bank General Managers Sinku Kumar Parira, Rupesh Kumar and Meva Anand, along with Assistant General Managers Ravindra Kumar Sinha and Sanjay Kumar, played an active role in making the cleanliness drive successful.
Cleanliness Drives Held Across Eight Regional Offices
As part of the same initiative, cleanliness drives were also organised across the state under the leadership of the respective Regional Managers at all eight regional offices of Jharkhand Gramin Bank.
The statewide campaign focused on encouraging public participation and spreading awareness about the importance of cleanliness in public places.
