Bihar News : The appointment process for 2,451 Assistant Professors selected on a contractual basis for 211 newly established degree colleges in Bihar has entered its final stage.
The Higher Education Department has released the detailed schedule for the selected candidates. As per the original plan, universities were to be allotted to candidates on August 3.
University Allotment List Released
However, late on Sunday night, the Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) published the list of allotted universities for 2,451 selected candidates across six subjects on its official website. Candidates have been directed to join their allotted colleges by August 10.
College Preference to Be Submitted Online
According to the Higher Education Department, selected candidates will be required to submit their preferred colleges under their allotted university through an online option form on August 4.
A dedicated link for filling in college preferences will be made available on the department’s website. Candidates must submit their choices within the stipulated deadline.
Document Verification on August 7
The department has announced that all selected candidates must report to their allotted university on August 7 for verification of original documents and completion of all appointment-related formalities.
Joining on August 10
Candidates must report to their allotted colleges on August 10. Their appointment will become effective from the date of joining.
Candidates Advised to Keep Documents Ready
The Higher Education Department has advised all selected candidates to regularly check the official websites of the department and the Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) for updates.
Candidates have also been asked to keep all original educational certificates, reservation certificates, and other required documents ready to ensure a smooth verification and appointment process.
