Bihar News : With campaigning for the Bankipur Assembly by-election entering its final phase, Janata Dal (United) National President and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday reviewed the party’s election preparations and received detailed feedback from senior minister and JD(U) Legislature Party leader Shravan Kumar at his residence on 7, Circular Road.
Lalan Kumar Sarraf, Deputy Leader of the Ruling Party in the Bihar Legislative Council, was also present during the meeting. The leaders discussed the campaign’s progress, organizational efforts, and preparations ahead of polling.
On the final day of campaigning, a large number of JD(U) leaders and party workers met Nitish Kumar. He issued necessary instructions and urged party leaders to ensure maximum voter turnout on July 30, encouraging voters to reach polling stations in large numbers.
Among those who met Nitish Kumar were MLAs Hemnarayan Sah, Indradev Patel, and Vinay Kumar Choudhary, along with Siwan JD(U) district president Jishu Singh and senior party leader Lok Prakash Singh, besides several other party functionaries.
