Bihar News : Janata Dal (United) National President and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar on Tuesday visited the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), located within the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) campus, to meet former security officer Basant Singh, who is currently undergoing treatment.
During the visit, Nitish Kumar met Basant Singh and enquired about his health. He also sought a detailed update on his condition from IGIMS Director Dr. Sunil Kumar and wished him a speedy recovery.
The JD(U) leader instructed the hospital administration to ensure that there is no lapse in the treatment and that the patient receives all necessary medical care and facilities without any delay.
Nitish Kumar also interacted briefly with people present at the hospital and reviewed the treatment arrangements. He was accompanied by Lalan Kumar Sarraf, Deputy Leader of the Ruling Party in the Bihar Legislative Council.
