Bihar News : In view of the Tiranga Yatra (foot march) from JP Golambar to Kargil Chowk, traffic police have introduced diversions on several roads from 7 AM on Monday. The restrictions will remain in effect until the programme concludes.
Under the new traffic arrangements, vehicles will not be allowed to enter from Dakbungalow Crossing towards Gandhi Maidan (Children’s Park), from New Dakbungalow Road towards SP Verma Road, and from Chhajju Bagh towards TN Banerjee Road.
Vehicle Entry Restricted on These Routes
Traffic movement on the affected routes will remain restricted during the Tiranga Yatra. Commuters have been advised to use the designated alternative routes.
New Routes for Goods and Commercial Vehicles
Goods vehicles will not be allowed to operate towards Chirayatand and Goriyatoli.
Similarly, movement of goods vehicles from Mithapur towards Buddha Marg and from R-Block Golambar towards Income Tax Golambar will remain restricted.
Route for Autos from Patna Junction
Autos travelling from Patna Junction towards Gandhi Maidan will take the route via Dakbungalow Crossing, New Dakbungalow Road and Bhattacharya Mor, before reaching Exhibition Road.
They will then return towards Patna Junction via CDA Building Golambar and Goriyatoli.
City Bus Route Also Changed
City buses operating from Engineering College will travel via Gandhi Chauraha, Machhuatoli, Dariyapur Tiraha, Nala Road, Pirbahore, CDA Building Golambar and Goriyatoli before reaching Patna Junction.
The buses will follow the same route while returning.
Route for Autos and E-Rickshaws from Patna City
Autos and e-rickshaws coming from Patna City will travel through Mussallahpur Hat and Bari Path up to Khazanchi Road.
On the return journey, they will take Khazanchi Road to Ashok Rajpath and proceed towards Gaighat.
Traffic police have urged commuters and vehicle operators to follow the designated diversions during the Tiranga Yatra to ensure smooth traffic movement in the city.
