Ranchi: A large number of local residents reached Chutia Police Station on Thursday after a clash between a jewellery shop operator and local people in the area. The residents demanded a fair and impartial investigation and action against both sides based on facts and evidence. According to police, an argument broke out on Wednesday night near Power Chowk between the operator of a jewellery shop and some youths from Nayak Toli in Chutia. The dispute allegedly escalated, leading to a clash between the youths and supporters of the shopkeeper. Around Six People Injured Around six people from both sides were injured in the incident. Some of the injured were discharged after receiving first aid, while those who sustained serious injuries were admitted to hospital. Following the clash, both sides accused each other of assault and alleged that the other group was responsible for the violence.
