Making a big announcement for the journalists of the state, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has increased the pension amount given under the “Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana”. Now the retired journalists of the state will get a respect pension of 15,000 rupees per month instead of 6,000 rupees per month earlier.
About this, he wrote in an ex post – Under the Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana, now the department has been instructed to provide pension amount of 15 thousand rupees instead of 6 thousand rupees every month to all eligible journalists. In the event of death of journalists receiving pension under Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana, their dependent spouse has been instructed to give a pension amount of 10 thousand rupees instead of 3 thousand rupees per month for life.
