Bihar News : As part of efforts to strengthen security across the district, Saran Police launched a special late-night inspection drive under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vineet Kumar. The operation covered hotels, lodges, hostels, banks, ATMs, and commercial establishments across all police station jurisdictions.
During the drive, police teams verified the identities of guests, inspected hotel registers, and checked suspicious individuals and vehicles. Officers also reviewed security arrangements at various establishments. Night patrolling has been intensified, with enhanced surveillance at major intersections and other sensitive locations.
Saran Police issued strict instructions to all hotel and lodge operators not to provide accommodation to anyone without a valid government-issued identity card. They were also directed to maintain complete and accurate records of all guests in their registers.
Police appealed to hotel owners and the public to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police control room or the nearest police station so that timely action can be taken.
