Jamshedpur: Tata Steel has been honoured with the National Award for Excellence in CSR and Sustainability in the Best Environmental Responsibility Initiatives category for its efforts in environmental responsibility, circularity and sustainability.
The award was presented at a ceremony organised by the World HRD Congress in Bengaluru recently.
The winners were selected by a jury that evaluated the nominations based on the organisations’ achievements and contributions towards building a sustainable society.
Focus on Environmental Responsibility
The recognition reflects Tata Steel’s continued efforts towards the responsible utilisation of industrial by-products as part of its broader sustainability journey.
These initiatives are driven in part through the company’s Industrial By-Products Management Division (IBMD), which focuses on supporting the productive use of industrial by-products.
