Koderma: Two minor cousins from Tilaiya Basti, under the jurisdiction of the Tilaiya Police Station in Koderma district, have gone missing under suspicious circumstances after leaving home to attend coaching classes. The two students left their homes around 3:30 PM on Thursday, November 5, but did not return by late evening. Their families conducted an extensive search on their own but could not find any leads. Consequently, both families approached the Tilaiya Police Station and requested the police to help locate the girls. The families are deeply concerned following the incident.
One of the missing girls is the 15-year-old daughter of Manoj Sao, while the other is the 14-year-old daughter of his brother, Ravi Sao. According to the families, the girls had left home saying they were going to coaching, as they did routinely. When they failed to return at the expected time, the family members first checked with the coaching center. They subsequently searched in the surrounding areas and with relatives, but no information about the girls could be found. Ultimately, the families filed a written complaint at the police station.
Possible Link to School Protest
Another aspect of the case has emerged. It is reported that one of the missing girls is a student at the CD Balika Mukhyamantri Utkrisht Vidyalaya. There is speculation that she may have participated in a protest organized by students against the suspension of the school’s acting principal, Shashi Bhushan Singh. However, there has been no official confirmation of any connection between the school protest and the disappearance of the two girls.
Following the complaint filed by the families, the Tilaiya police have initiated an investigation. The police are actively searching for the two minors and are examining various angles to determine the potential reasons behind their sudden disappearance.
