India News : A vibrant Independence Day celebration and the grand finale of “Khelo EMG” took place at Eldeco Mystic Greens Society, located in Sector Omicron-1, Greater Noida. The event featured a grand prize distribution ceremony, marking the end of a 10-day sports extravaganza that began on August 4 and concluded on August 14.
Around 250 residents participated in over 350 matches across 16 sports, including lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton (singles, doubles, mixed), men’s and women’s cricket, volleyball, chess, carrom, and swimming.
Over 100 winners were awarded gold medals, while nearly 100 participants received silver medals. In addition, 22 children were recognized with the ‘Special Achievers Award’ for their accomplishments in academics, sports, Olympiads, music, and dance.
The celebration began with a colorful march-past and flag hoisting ceremony. Children presented patriotic cultural performances that were warmly received by the audience. Many residents volunteered to support the event alongside the AOA (Apartment Owners Association) team.
Resident Amit Ranjan thanked the AOA members for organizing such a grand event and encouraged more such initiatives in the future.
Key organizers of the event included Vice President Anil Mishra, Rakesh Thakur, Santosh Das, Abhilasha Chandukka, Deepak Agarwal, Kamiya, Anil Jha, Manisha Arora, Amit Sharma, Shashank, and Mani Singh.
The atmosphere in the society remained festive throughout the day, with residents of all ages enthusiastically participating and expressing their gratitude to the AOA team for a well-executed celebration.
