Sports News : Cricket fans have a major reason to cheer as ticket sales for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 have officially begun. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), which manages Eden Gardens, announced the ticket prices on Wednesday, December 17. The iconic Kolkata venue will host multiple group-stage matches, Super Eight clashes, and a semi-final during the tournament.
According to CAB, ticket prices for matches at Eden Gardens start from as low as ₹100, making the global tournament accessible to a wide range of fans. However, tickets priced at ₹100 will not be available for India matches, as Team India will not play any league-stage games at Eden Gardens.
For group matches such as Bangladesh vs Italy, England vs Italy, and West Indies vs Italy, premium hospitality (B Premium) tickets are priced at ₹4,000. Lower Block B and L tickets cost ₹1,000, while Lower Blocks C, F, and K are priced at ₹200. Lower Blocks D, E, G, H, and J also cost ₹200. Upper Block tickets (B1, C1, D1, F1, G1, H1, K1, L1) are available for just ₹100.
High-demand group matches like West Indies vs Bangladesh and England vs Bangladesh have slightly higher prices. Premium hospitality tickets for these matches are priced at ₹5,000, while lower block tickets range from ₹500 to ₹1,500. Upper block tickets for these fixtures are available at ₹300.
For Super Eight matches and the semi-final, ticket prices increase significantly. Premium hospitality tickets are priced at ₹10,000, while lower block tickets range between ₹1,500 and ₹3,000. Upper block tickets for these knockout games are priced at ₹900.
The 10th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup will begin on February 7, 2026, and Eden Gardens is expected to witness packed crowds throughout the tournament.
