Bhagwat says RSS was not created for any political ideology

India News : RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat appealed during the centenary lecture series that people should not form opinions about the RSS based on secondary sources. He emphasized that the primary goal of the RSS is to make India a world leader, and linking it to any political ideology is incorrect.

Bhagwat highlighted various streams of India’s freedom struggle, describing the RSS as a means for social reform and unity. He added that while everyone has the right to their views, comparing the RSS politically could lead to misunderstandings.

According to the RSS chief, the organization was not created as a political reaction or for any political purpose. Its focus is on the development of Hindus and the strengthening of society. He referred to historical examples, noting that some freedom fighters believed in armed struggle, others practiced civil disobedience, and some prioritized social reform first.

Bhagwat emphasized that the RSS does not aim to destroy or compete with anyone; its work is to empower society. He also cautioned against viewing the RSS solely through the lens of the BJP or any service organization.

The RSS works for India’s culture and social unity, with a mission that does not involve political gain or competition.
