London/Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Murmu Soren, Chairperson of the Women & Child Development Committee, Jharkhand Assembly, along with other delegation members, arrived in London late Wednesday from Davos. Upon arrival, Jharkhand scholars and diaspora members warmly welcomed the Chief Minister and his wife.
CM Hemant Soren said, “I am overwhelmed by your heartfelt welcome and respect. Our people, who are making Jharkhand proud internationally, truly make us proud. My heartfelt thanks to all of you.”
Kalpana Murmu Soren also expressed gratitude to the Jharkhand scholars and diaspora, saying, “We are deeply moved to have our Chief Minister among us. Jharkhandi Johar!”
The welcome, marked by traditional songs and music, reflected the love and affection of Jharkhand’s people for their leaders.
