Offbeat News : A firing incident was reported outside the residence of Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu area, triggering heightened security in the locality. Following the incident, Mumbai Police and forensic teams rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.
According to police officials, the firing took place at around 3 a.m. on Saturday, when unknown assailants allegedly fired four rounds near the filmmaker’s house before fleeing the scene. As a precautionary measure, additional police personnel have been deployed in and around the area, which is also home to several other Bollywood celebrities.
Investigation Underway, Motive Unclear
Mumbai Police said they are probing the case from all possible angles to identify the attackers. CCTV footage from nearby buildings, technical evidence and local inputs are being examined. The motive behind the firing remains unclear, and no individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
Officials added that forensic reports and further technical analysis will play a key role in determining the sequence of events. Meanwhile, security patrols have been intensified in Juhu to prevent any untoward incident and to reassure residents.
